These cute little art deco style, 925 sterling silver high heel shoe charms are salvaged from a badly tarnished and neglected vintage charm bracelet and date, I believe, from the 1980s.

The tarnish is cleaned from the charms by torch firing them and they are then pickled to remove any fire scale before being polished to a high shine in a tumbler/barrel polisher.

These little 3D open toe sandal charms are signed “925 FBM” on the sole of the shoe. 925 signifies that they are made of sterling silver while FBM is the maker’s mark, in this case the German jewellery maker, Friedrich Binder GmbH & Co, a company founded in Mönsheim in 1910.

You can choose your charm with or without an open 5mm jump ring to suit your own needs. They’re perfect for adding to a necklace as a cute mini pendant or to a charm bracelet. Or you could purchase two charms and create a fun pair of drop earrings.
