A tiny, clear quartz Herkimer diamond bead, the birthstone for April (see below), is securely wire wrapped to create a dainty gemstone charm ready for you to add to your own jewellery creations. Add one to a bracelet or necklace or buy two charms and use them to create pretty drop earrings.

This listing is for a single dangle charm, allowing you to order the exact number you need.

You can choose either silver plated, gold plated, rose gold plated, sterling silver, 14K gold filled or 14K rose gold filled finish, with or without a matching 5mm jump ring.

ABOUT HERKIMER DIAMONDS

Herkimer diamonds are not actually real diamonds but are called “diamonds” because of their amazing clarity and beautiful natural faceting. They are in fact rare, double point clear quartz crystals which are found and mined in and around Herkimer County, New York and in the Mohawk River Valley. Double terminated quartz crystals can be found in other locations around the world, but only those mined in Herkimer County can carry the name “Herkimer diamonds”.

Please be aware that every Herkimer diamond gemstone is unique. While you will receive a charm which is very similar to the ones shown in the photos, and which is equally as beautiful, it will have its own unique markings and shape.

APRIL BIRTHSTONE

It is actually the diamond which is the traditional birthstone for April birthdays but genuine diamonds are extremely expensive and outside of most people’s budget. The alternative choice is therefore clear quartz, making the Herkimer diamond an excellent, unusual and far more affordable choice of April birthstone.
